I’m so happy to keep sharing my Alena Starbus adventures with you!

Here it is part 4 of my RV travels with Glenn and the kitties, the final leg before coming back home to Melbourne. If you would like to read my previous RV adventures, just follow these links:

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3

After spending a week in the utter magic of Cape Tribulation (as far north as you can go with a two-wheel drive up the East Coast), it was time to turn back south.

We knew we had to. It was time to go β€œhome”. I could have continued on indefinitely, having the luxury of being able to work with MTE on the road, but Glenn had to get back to work.

We had a few stops overnight off-grid (not in caravan parks) at Ellis Beach, then Innisfail and Hideaway Bay.

Then it was time for another reset – washing, water and power up, food shopping and Alena Star Bus clean – which we chose to do at Mackay.

MacKay

Mackay is lovely.

We stayed for 2 nights in a park next to a lake. The temperature was too cold to swim, yet so lovely to relax and take a breather.

There I did some much needed catch up work with MTE as well, whilst enjoying some relaxing by the river which had awesome wildlife.

Then we drove down through Rockhampton, and went through to Noosa.

Noosa

It was beautiful to catch up with Glenn’s family who were holidaying in Noosa. We stayed a few nights, went out to brunches and dinners, had some nights in an apartment (the kitties missed not having us in the RV overnight) and we saw humpback whales from a high-up apartment balcony, which had an awesome bay view!

There were so many humpbacks migrating!

Then we made our way to Burleigh Heads.

Burleigh Heads

Glenn has always raved about Burleigh Heads, a coastal Queensland town, not far from the Queensland, New South Wales border.

I had never visited there before.

It has some beautiful parts where forest meets ocean, yet Glenn said how congested the traffic has become there, and it wasn’t how he had remembered it.

Temperatures were now down in the 20’s, and we had a lovely day relaxing by the park’s pool, but way too cold to go in. After all it was still Australia’s end of winter!

We had three nights in a caravan park, enjoying the sights and local food, then continued down South.

Port Macquarie

I love Port Macquarie! A a dear girlfriend Cat and I spent a week there a few years ago. It’s an awesome ocean town with world famous rock art at the Break Walk.

All councils should promote this idea, it’s so pretty and fascinating reading the rocks!

We spent one night here, had a lovely breakfast at the Break Walk cafΓ©, and then drove on again to…

Newcastle

Glenn and I had planned this stop right from the start.

It’s such a quirky place, many old and stunning buildings, and a beautiful rocky coastline – crazily hilly with lovely ocean views.

Glenn was so excited to spend time here, reliving his childhood after not being here since he was only eleven years old. It’s amazing how incredible his memory is!

We visited his parents’ restaurant, where he also lived, and ate a seafood tower for two there, which was delicious.

We then snuck upstairs to the hotel, to stand outside his bedroom and remember where he played cricket in the passageway!

Another of Glenn’s childhood play spots was the Fort. We walked to his primary school which has completely changed and just happens to be the oldest school in all of Australia!

We slept off-grid in Alena Star Bus at the top of the cliff and had the most gorgeous views over the ocean to wake up to.

This was a very meaningful trip for Glenn, and for me such a joy and privilege to share this with him.

We stayed 3 nights and days.

Then drove down to Kiama.

Kiama

Is such a cute little town! I had only ever been here once before with my dear friend Simone Waddell – and loved it!

Wow the weather was COLD!! Glenn and I visited the blowhole and didn’t manage to capture a massive eruption on camera! We tried!

Then on to South Durras.

South Durras

I love South Durras, it’s gorgeous, quiet, off the beaten track and teeming with kangaroos.

Here was a moment feeding a mother with joey on board in her pouch.

A very special moment that is pretty rare!

Then on to Bodalla

Bodalla

This is the home of the famous Bodalla cheeses, with fabbo cheese tasting! Such a quirky, cute little place – very popular with tourists.

Plus, an awesome hippy shop where I got some super-comfy dresses and Glenn, the fanatical cheese connoisseur, became the proud owner of three new cheeses!

Then on to one of my favourite places!

Merimbula

It’s such a stunning place that we both love very much!

We stayed off-grid only one night.

This was our last New South Wales stop before re-entering Victoria on our way home.

Which was feeling pretty surreal.

Lakes Entrance

We crossed the border and looked at each other – did we want to be back in Victoria?

Not really … I seriously could have stayed away much longer. Glenn, I know, felt the same.

Cold weather, and all the things that go with Victoria – which we both (over the last few years) have not liked at all.

Melbourne, which was once voted the β€œmost liveable city” in the world, is now a former shadow of its previous self.

Anyway, here we were …

Lakes Entrance softened the blow – it is seriously stunning. Lakes, ocean and a beautiful township.

Rarely will you see pelicans and black swans all hanging out together.

Chloe and Ruby Update

The kitties, coming down the more civilized East Coast have not been able to stretch their little leggies outside Alena Star Bus as much as we would have liked. It’s much easier to do in remote areas in central outback Australia.

Yet, they don’t mind … they are soooooo content doing nothing!

Mind you there are times they are running around the RV, jumping up into cupboards and swinging off their scratching pole! But not often…

I really do wonder who sleeps the most – koalas or cats?

Anyway … I have Part 5 coming up soon …Really soon …

You know why?

Because of…

CAPE TRIBULATION

Glenn, myself, the kitties and two dear friends are all moving to Cape Tribulation to live.

We REALLY did fall in love – and the perfect property presented itself!

Soon – in a few short weeks – we are all driving up to far North Queensland as a four-vehicle convoy. It’s going to take several days!

Here we come, paradise!

WOOHOO!

On this property Glenn will work the restaurant, and I will have a conference centre, and beautiful acreage where I am going to set up as a resort to train Quanta Freedom Healers.

We can’t believe it – it’s a dream come true!

Here is a sneak peek of the property.

My next on-the-road adventure will be our convoy!

Watch THIS space!

I can’t wait to be delivering Thriver material from this beautiful place – even though its going to be damn HOT!!

It’s incredible how many people I have spoken to who have visited Cape Tribulation. Everyone raves about it!

Have you been? Do you know anyone else who has? Did you ever visit there in summer?

Let me know in the comments below – and stay tuned! The adventures are now REALLY beginning!

  5. Congratulations on your exciting decision to move up to Cape Tribulation and thank you for all that you do for us. I am on holiday in Australia at the moment from the UK. I thought Melbourne was terrific (better than London for sure!). I wonder what it was like before it was a shadow of its former self!

    1. Thank you P,

It was always very PC and a nanny state (excessive police, local government control, taxes, fines) but on the surface was much nicer.

Now the heaviness, underbelly and “sickness” is there for all to see, who know. Many have fled.

  7. Absolutely fantastic, “live your dreams” and help those that need it.
Wow! What a way to thrive after what you have been through.
Congratulations and I wish you every success!
Personally, I am loving my journey with your Narp program. Without the awareness through the education you put out and the healing program I would not be moving through my life to better things so much easier. Now I have a better understanding of how to navigate my life dealing with a narcissist. Thank you Whole Heartedly

  8. Dearest Mel, Thank you for sharing this amidst such a busy schedule. We really do so appreciate it. What an incredible adventure! Gosh can’t thank you enough for sharing and the Healings on the road were amazing.
My younger brother lives in Mackay, and a few years ago when we visited him, we drove back down to Brisbane through all those places, Rockhampton, Bundaberg (where we discovered the Ginger Beer factory), Gympie, Noosa, Sunshine Coast and so on, what a Beautiful country.
    Looking forward to Episode 5D.

  9. Wow that is such an exciting end to your trip Mel and Glenn. Congratulations on your decision and forthcoming new adventure. I have not quite made it as high as Cape Tribulation before. Absolutely adore the Daintree Forest. I look forward to visiting in the future. May it all go amazingly.

    1. Hi Pietta,

I had never been there either, I’d only been to Daintree and not the other side of the river, and wow you have to do it – you will love it and we’d love to meet you!

  16. Melanie,

I am a Canadian living in Canada presently, and I have been to Cape Tribulation, so I can imagine how very excited you are to be able to move there, and set up your dream centre for NARP!!! Wow!

I have been in your program for a couple of years, so very thankful for it.
I had done that trip from Brisbane to Cape Tribulation in my late twenties –
it was the absolute most adventurous, beautiful place I have ever been in my life.

I am very excited for your venture – it looks amazing. You do such good work in your program, work that is so needed for our (sadly I think broken) world, but a changing world right now. I have hope, especially when I see so many of us doing the work and really healing.

Looking forward to all your updates, and I wish you great success in your new centre, and again a big thank you for your leadership!

    Angela xox

    1. Hi Angela,

wow – so many people have said the same to us “It is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been!” That’s how Glenn and I felt too. It’s so fitting that QFH training happens in this magical place.

I do have faith in a new world – and I also believe QFH will be able to help. It is stunning how many beautiful souls in our community are healing so beautifully.

Thank you for your beautiful words and support.

      Much Love to you

      Mel πŸ™πŸ’žπŸ¦‹

  17. This is so amazing Mel.. what an incredible vision to have bright into realisation. I hope I can fly to Oz to train up in Quanta Freedom healing… been wanting to do that for years so super chuffed you are going to be offering that. Whoop whoop!!!
    Love Sammy xxx

  18. Love the update and once again congratulations! Can hardly wait to make my first trip to Australia for training. Love what you are doing. And thank you for all you do and all you are. It has saved my life as well.

  19. This is wonderful…blessings and happiness to all concerned. Your journey has been long and difficult but all well worth the struggle. You’ve helped countless numbers of others along the way. Congratulations, dear lady!πŸ’•πŸ’•

  20. So beautiful Melanie!
So so excited you have a physical space, that you will be teaching Quantum Healing from πŸ™‚πŸ™‚

  21. Cape Tribulation looks so incredible! Really beyond words! I felt it deep within me as I was reading your first mention of it that this was your destiny for you and Glenn. I can’t speak enough words to describe the healing that has taken place with and inside of me. I tell people that I’m Beth 2.0 and I don’t recognize Beth 1.0. That’s real 5D evolution from a 3D world.

I’m even more super excited about the Quanta Freedom Healer program. I feel my heart called to help others heal and can’t wait to hear more about the training program. In the meantime travel safe with your gang and the darling kitties! With much love!

    1. Hi Beth,

yes, we had no idea that EXACTLY the right property would pop up there – so meant to be!

How beautiful that you are feeling an awesome shift from 3D to 5D. Gorgeous to see!

I’d love to have you on our list, to contact straight away when we start taking applicants! Look out for these details!

Thank you for your safe travel wishes.

      Mel πŸ™πŸ’žπŸ¦‹

  22. I went to Cape Tribulation way back in 1989 so I can only guess it’s changed a bit since then. We went through Cairns which was a lovely big country town, not anymore.

As we flew from Sydney to Cairns we did all those wonderful places along the way like Laura, including missing a turn off and ending in Bamaga (Bam-mag-ga not Bamarga).

We had done the Coast Road from Brisbane through Cape Tribulation some years earlier so it was still very “country” back then and such a delight to visit and chill out… except for then being with the Narc so it had to be what he wanted.

I’m glad you’re taking the plunge both of you to follow the road to your dreams and do whatever it is that you desire, upward and onward.

Thanks for your tales of your travels they gave me wonderful memories.

  23. Hi Melanie,
I have followed you content from afar for a number of years now, and am so excited to see there will be events based locally here in FNQ πŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸŽ‰ 🐊

All the best on the next leg of your journey 😁 and dont forget to check out the ice creamery!
    Tamika
